New dual SIM cell phone from Micromax

A tech related post after a very long time. Last I did was almost a year back when I wrote about Broadband in Shimla. Here is something which passed through my hand recently. Miromax Q3 is a recently launched cell phone and is loaded with a host of features. It is a dual band phone which works on 900/1800 Mhz and weighs just 97 g. The main screen is a 262k color TFT screen with a full QWERTY keypad. It supports MP3, AMR, MIDI, WAV files for music and also has a 1.3 MP camera.

The phone supports GPRS, WAP, MMS and Bluetooth. The phone supports dual SIM and both SIM  cards  operate simultaneously. Dual SIM!!! Wait the first word which comes in mind after hearing dual SIM is Chinese. Well, no this is not a Chinese phone but our own Made in India brand. This phone is being manufactured in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh by Micomax Industries. The phone is available in Shimla for Rs.  4,100/ and the company is offering a 2 GB memory card along with the phone.
